CyberTon Land Fan Content Guidelines
We’re thrilled to have such a creative and passionate community interested in our game and its world. To help you channel your creativity while respecting our intellectual property and crypto-related elements, we’ve created these Fan Content Guidelines. They include a bit of legal stuff to protect you, us, and our work. If you have questions, please reach out via our official contact page on GitHub or other designated channels.
Section 1: What Kind of Fan Content Can I Make?
We’re happy for you to make a wide variety of fan content inspired by CyberTon Land, provided it complies with these guidelines. For example:
Creating gameplay videos or streams for platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
Sharing fan art of CyberTon Land’s characters, settings, and themes on social media.
Designing cosplay outfits or props inspired by our game.
Hosting fan websites or community groups related to CyberTon Land.
Taking and sharing screenshots or creating wallpapers using in-game visuals.
Discussing and analyzing our game’s crypto ecosystem in educational or informational content.
Feel free to innovate, but ensure your work aligns with these rules and respects our intellectual property.
Section 2: The Golden Rules
To protect CyberTon Land and its community, please follow these key principles:
Non-Commercial Usage
Fan content should be created by fans, for fans, and not for commercial purposes. You may accept reasonable voluntary donations for your content, but paywalls or mandatory fees are prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
Clear Attribution
Clearly display this disclaimer on your fan content: “This is unofficial fan work and is not approved or endorsed by CyberTon Land.” Avoid suggesting any official endorsement unless explicitly granted by us.
No Independent NFTs
Fans may not create or distribute NFTs, tokens, or other blockchain assets using CyberTon Land’s intellectual property, game assets, or branding.
Respect Our Crypto Ecosystem
Do not replicate, modify, or distribute CyberTon Land’s crypto mechanisms, smart contracts, or integrations without written permission. This includes our in-game token systems, AI agents, and proprietary blockchain components.
No Incorporation into Third-Party Products
Your fan content should not be integrated into third-party games, applications, or commercial products.
Be Respectful
Avoid creating content that is offensive, defamatory, or harmful to others. Respect the rights and reputations of all involved, including brands and individuals associated with CyberTon Land.
Adhere to Legal Rules
These guidelines complement, but do not override, our Terms of Service, End User License Agreement (EULA), and other legal agreements. In case of conflicts, those agreements take precedence.
Section 3: Specific Rules for Certain Types of Content
Videos and Streams
We encourage videos, walkthroughs, and streams showcasing CyberTon Land gameplay. You can monetize your content via platform partnerships like YouTube or Twitch, as long as:
The content remains accessible without a paywall.
It does not misrepresent CyberTon Land’s themes or systems.
Music
If you use CyberTon Land’s music, ensure:
It’s strictly for CyberTon Land-related fan projects.
You obtain appropriate licenses for third-party tracks we do not own outright.
Mods
We appreciate mods enhancing the CyberTon Land experience. However, these must:
Adhere to our EULA.
Not enable cheating or otherwise disrupt our multiplayer and crypto-integrated environments.
Avoid creating standalone products using our assets.
Websites and Apps
You’re welcome to create community websites or fan pages. However:
Do not use our trademarks (e.g., "CyberTon Land") in domain names or app titles.
Ensure your site is non-commercial and adheres to these guidelines.
Section 4: Who Owns the Fan Content?
You own the new, original fan content you create. However, because it’s based on our intellectual property, we retain ownership of CyberTon Land’s underlying assets, including characters, storylines, and branding. By creating fan content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and showcase your creations for promotional purposes.
Section 5: What If I Have a Special Idea?
If you wish to pursue a project outside these guidelines, contact us via our official communication channels for prior approval. While we can’t guarantee approval, we’re open to discussions about unique and innovative ideas.
Section 6: Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines periodically. Changes will be announced on our GitHub or official website and become effective 30 days after posting. If you have questions about updates, feel free to reach out.
Section 7: Need Clarifications?
For questions or feedback about these guidelines, please contact us through our official GitHub or communication channels. We appreciate your creativity and dedication to CyberTon Land!
